So, you're a vegan that has not had waffles for some time because of eggs and milk? Or you're not vegan at all and you just want to know if the title of this video was but a teaser to make you click on it? Well, do we have news for you! Because these ARE the world's best waffles, and they ARE vegan! Oh yes!
And they are a breeze to prepare! All you need is a blender and
150 gr. of flour
300 ml. of water
a handful of cashews
a pinch of salt
one bag of pure tartar
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
and some vanilla
Blend it all together. Now you have a very thin dough that has to rest for 20 minutes. Use this time to heat up the waffle iron and in goes the dough.
These waffles are crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They are absolutely fantastic! Don't miss out on them!
For this serving we had a rhubarb sauce to go with them. Just peel the stems, cut them, and cook them with a little bit of water and agave syrup while adding some vanilla. It's quick and easy and super tasty!
